MICRON Filter Cartridge Corp., established in 2005 in Elmhurst, Illinois, manufactures high quality wound filter cartridges and activated carbon filter cartridges, for water filters, liquid filtration, and many other micron wound filter applications.  Since we manufacture to order with a large capacity, we can "kwik" ship and turn orders around usually in 1 - 2 business days. 

MICRON Wound Filter Cartridges are made from high quality, FDA compliant polypropylene filter media wound to precision requirements. This ensures a filter cartridge with full-depth contaminant holding characteristics.  Unlike low cost, low performance melt-blown and fiber cartridges, MICRON wound cartridges are manufactured on a rigid core which makes them rugged.  They can hold more contaminants resulting in fewer filter changes.  This saves our customers money.

MICRON cartridges fit most commonly available 10" and 20" filter housings and come in three standard diameters, 2-1/4", 2-1/2" and 4-1/2", and a wide range of micron filtration ratings. Our most popular model, the 10" long filter cartridge, is widely used in residential, commercial, and industrial filtering applications, and our "Dual-Clean" 4-1/2" cartridges provide pre- and final filtration in a single cartridge. We can supply virtually any diameter and length as a custom requirement.

MICRON Activated Carbon filter cartridges are unique in that we use high performance activated carbon wound into our cartridges.  This results in a large carbon surface area while the outer windings protect the carbon from premature fouling.  This is MICRON’S own design and is being used in many applications. 

MICRON has high production capacity so our customers do not have to keep large inventories if they choose not to.  Our production facility is kept clean at all times. 

MICRON also offers 10" and 20" filter housings for all cartridge diameters.
